This years Picnic will be held at Downs Park in Pasadena, Maryland on Sunday, September 20. The festivities begin at 11:00AM and the fun ends at 4:00. Please remember to bring a side food item for the day, the Hounds are providing pizza and chicken.

A HUGE SUCCESS!
Thank you to everyone who made the picnic a huge success. The money we raised will help many more Greyhounds find homes. We hope everyone had a great time. Thanks for coming and we hope to see you next year.

For the first time we will be offering a seminar on Reiki. You can also check out a Renaissance demonstration, get your Greyhound's nails trimmed, and have a clay paw print made. It's going to be greyt fun!

VOLUNTEER!
We also need volunteers to help with the picnic. Perhaps you have time to help at the registration stand, or solicit and collect for the 50/50 raffle, or help sell assorted items for your Greyhound such as collar/leash sets and muzzles. If you can't help with these things we can use some coolers full of ice for drinks. Please contact Terry Stansell if you can help out that day.

The park is located right next to the Chesapeake Bay and has lots of walking trails, volleyball and basketball courts, picnic tables and grills, and a playground for the younger children. It even has a dog beach where your Greyhound could go swimming.

Don't worry about the parking fee, the dogs are picking that up for us so more folks can come out and enjoy the picnic. Please remember that this is a fund raising event for us. All the money you donate via raffles, auctions, games, and admission goes directly to the Greyhounds.
